Hello Ramsey Ramilies!
As we begin our third full week of school, there will be students experiencing a schedule change to help balance the numbers in classes across the building. Please know our counselors worked diligently last week to minimize the number of students impacted by the change. A separate email went out on Sunday to families with students having a schedule change. Thank you in advance for your support and patience with these changes.
Additionally, I would like to thank all the parents and guardians who attended the virtual PTO meeting last Thursday evening. Your presence and support are appreciated!
Again, please feel free to reach out to me with questions and concerns via email teresa.vibar@spps.org.

Students Charging iPads
Please remind your students that they need to have their iPads fully charged every day for school. We already have students come to school with iPads that have little or no charge. Charging the iPad every day is an expected responsibility for all students. Each student received a new USB-C charger with their new iPad. They were told that we don't have any extras at this time. If your student has lost their charger, they can receive one of the old chargers. Please do not have students charge their iPads with an iPhone charger (small square). They are too low of power and could be a fire risk.
If you have questions, please email cara.hagen@spps.org. Thank you.

Hydration Is Healthy, Bring A Water Bottle~
Hydration is healthy- and water bottles help reduce waste. At Ramsey we want to continue to promote healthy habits in our shared space. For both health and environmental reasons we are encouraging students to bring a LABELED water bottle from home to fill and refill at our hygienic touch less/hands-free filtered water stations.
“Research indicates that students remember more and stay focused longer when they are hydrated. In fact, studies have found that drinking water can improve brain function by 15 percent. Because the brain has no way to store water, it is important to continually drink water throughout the day.”
