Sunblock, hats, and sunglasses are just a few things to remember. Even on cloudy days, sunblock should be used. Follow these sun safety prevention measures and be ready for sunnier days ahead. Meet the Chicks!
Meet, Auggie, Pebbles, Bingo, Sunny, Bingo, and Lucky.
After much anticipation (21 days of anticipation to be exact) the 3rd-grade students welcome 6 chicks this week. On March 9th we put seven eggs into the incubator and on March 29th the first chick was born at 7:15 pm. He was followed throughout the night and the next day by five more chicks.
Over the past three weeks, we have studied the life cycles of butterflies, frogs, and chicks and it was so much fun to have science literally come to life in front of our eyes this week.
Thank you to CAPT and Principal Lamour and Rent-a-Chicken for this amazing experience.

Substitutes Needed (Repost)
Do you have a college-age child coming home for winter break? If so, would they be interested in subbing for the Canton Public Schools while they are here? Subbing is a great way to keep busy, make money and get real-world work experience. In Canton, we have had great success bringing our own, former students back to help support our students and schools during this busy time year. If your child is interested, please have them fill out this sub application packet and email it to Kim Eardley (eardleyk@cantonma.org) to get the process started. If they fill it out before they get home, the process can begin asap!
Students in their first year of college are able to sub at the elementary and preschool levels only.
Students in their second year or beyond can sub at all school levels.
