Welcome to Your New Role Aritzu Leon- Flores!
"My name is Aritzu Leon, I was born in Irapuato, Mexico, and lived in my small and beautiful hometown. I was raised by my four grandparents and went to school in Mexico up to 2nd grade. Growing up in Mexico was such a wonderful experience which made me appreciate life and education at an early age. At seven years old, I moved to New. Jersey with my parents and experienced the difference in education and culture. Later on, I moved to Texas where I graduated from high school and met my husband. I have a huge love for kids but don't have any of my own yet. I love traveling and discovering different parts of the world. I am always wanting to learn due to my belief that education is the key to success. I am delighted to be part of the Denton ISD family and working with the students who I am sure will give me a lifetime of experience."
