Modern Day Take On The Greek Olympics🏅

The High School Artist of the Week is Exander Gierer
The High School Artist of the Week is Exander Gierer! The Artists of the Week is sponsored by Rocco's Pizza of Nixa.
"Exander is a 'lead by example' type of guy. He's quiet but when he talks it's always worthwhile to listen to his thoughtful or witty comments. He has emerged as one of the top ceramic sculptors in our program. Last year he won the top ceramic sculpture award at the annual "Clay it Up" Competition that featured schools from Springfield, Kansas City, Rogers, AR, and other surrounding schools." - Ryan Widel, visual arts department head
"I find art to be more than a visual medium and that it can go beyond it to the realm of thought and emotion. In my art, I try to use this to make the observer feel rather than admire." - Exander Gierer
