STUDENTS OF THE MONTH
JOELLA CHOI Outstanding grades, great teammate and a student with integrity! Joella is a hard working student and helpful with her classmates. She comes to class prepared and has high goals for herself. She is an example of what a Bronco should be. | NATHANIEL SIMMERMAN Nate is a great example of perseverance and hard work. He worked his way back from surgery to compete on the basketball team this year. He never missed a practice, and was always putting in hard work while he was there. | BROOKLYN WILLIAMS I have had the pleasure of being both a teacher and a coach for Brooklyn. In the classroom she is a phenomenal example of a student who stays on task, asks good thought-provoking questions, helps her peers, and stays engaged in what we are learning in class. In addition, she represents our Girls Athletic Program with dignity, integrity, and responsibility. She is competitive & always looks for ways to get better & to help push her team to success. She also makes us laugh! We just love, Brooklyn Williams! |

BEDFORD UNITED SOCCER
This week five of Bedford United's players represented Bedford Junior High in the annual Liga HEB White vs Green All-star game. The point of the All-Star game is to build camaraderie in the league, and bring kids together through the joy of the Beautiful Game. Each club gets five slots to fill, and coaches select players who are most deserving of the honor based on skill, attitude, leadership, and commitment. Bedford United was represented by Johan Osorio, Angel Guarneros, Terel Kabayi, Efri Lekunga, and Sladen Reams. HEB White scored late in the first half and HEB Green battled back valiantly in the second half, but never notched a tying goal. Final Score: Liga HEB White: 1, Liga HEB Green: 0.
