New Lunch Service Starting Tuesday, October 22nd
In partnership with Quixotes Restaurant, we will be kicking off our first day of hot lunch service on Tuesday. Information on how to register your household and add funds to your students accounts will be provided this week. The first week of service will not be in a pre-paid format as we are focusing on the traffic of students in the lunch line. We hope to begin utilizing the online system the following week. Parents will be billed at the end of the month for the current weeks service.
Lunch Ordering for Pizza Mondays will still open on the 20th of the month utilizing the Orgs platform.

This Friday, October 25th, we will be recognizing those BA Bulldogs who have maintained perfect attendance for the 1st quarter. Click here for information about how attendance impacts your child's growth.
Way to go Bulldogs!
Break Out That Winter Wear
With cooler weather on the horizon, please be sure your children are arriving to school in weather appropriate gear. All classes venture outside for not only recess, but for Outdoor Education and we want to make sure every child is comfortable enough to stay outside for extended periods of time. Please remember, only uniform approved sweatshirts, coats, and vests will be allowed to be worn inside the building.
Visitors, Help Keep Us Safe
When visiting the campus, for any length of time, please be sure to park in the designated parking spots and walk in. Cars blocking the fire lane causes unsafe conditions to all on campus, should there be an emergency. Also, please remember to bring a photo ID in each time you visit the campus.
Breast Cancer Awareness Month
Don't forget October is Breast Cancer Awareness month! Brevard Academy is 100% dedicated to spreading kindness and encouraging generosity to those in need, by raising money for the Hope Chest of WNC. The Hope Chest is a non-profit that provides financial assistance to women in WNC who are battling breast cancer. We are encouraging all students and staff to bring in change to fill their jars. All proceeds will then be presented to the Director of the Hope Chest at the end of October.
Turn Right When Exiting
During afternoon carline, traffic congestion is becoming an increasingly problematic issue. We would like to encourage drivers to exit right onto Glade Creek Road. The continuous flow of traffic is crucial to an efficient dismissal process. Please consider this alternate route, when leaving the campus to ensure the safe departure of all BA families.
Musical Help Needed
Were you in drama in high school? Maybe stitched together a couple costumes or love DIY art projects? It just so happens that we are looking for parents and family members to help out with the Spring Musical! If you have any experience in choreography, directing, acting, sewing, building props, or really just want to come lend a hand, please contact Mr. Duncan at email@example.com and let him know how you can help.
Yearbooks are available for purchase! From Now until November 30th yearbooks are priced at $35 with options to personalize. Please click here to order your child a gift that they will enjoy a lifetime.

Send in your Box Tops this month for the Fall Contest! Please send in baggies with box tops and community coffee labels, with teacher and grade clearly marked. This is a great way to earn money for the school.
We are expanding our Dads of Great Students program. If you are able to help with traffic control and student safety in the morning (7:25-7:50) or afternoon (2:30-3:30), we would appreciate your help. Please contact Mr. Duncan at firstname.lastname@example.org.
