Three Thanks Yous and Safety Tip of the Week
Three Thank Yous: Thank you to Ms. Duncan for being brave and trying something very new with our 7th grade students with "Be the Change" on Thursday; Thank you to Ms. Horgan, Ms. Harris, and Mr. Anderson for assisting with Be the Change; and thank you to the 6th grade for being very flexible today!
iReady Updates
The second iReady diagnostic will begin Wednesday, January 25th and last through Wednesday, February 1st. All iReady diagnostics will be taken during Miner Time. This Friday, January 20th will be the last day of Miner Time groups for this round. We will NOT have Miner Time groups on Monday January 23rd because it is a half day.
***6th grade teachers – much like the first iReady diagnostic you will switch your Miner Time and Homeroom block in order to take the iReady diagnostic on these days. This is done so we don’t have a “jam” on the iReady website.
Students for the Day - CMS teachers
Please remember that 5 teachers have been selected to become students for the day in order to 1. share out the many good things they will experience; share out the emotions of what it's like to be a "kid" at CMS; share ideas for improvement (in a non critical or non evaluative manner). Teachers can do the work as best to their ability. We have already had one teacher be a student, and this coming week, we will have 3 more teachers act as students. What a great time for reflection on where we are as a school! You will hear more in the February faculty meeting.
