As applications for the K-5 Homegrown Institute have come in, we have found that we are still short of our target group size of 50 participants (25 in K-2 and 25 in 3-5). To date, we have received 36 applications (17 for K-2 and 19 for 3-5). In an effort to try to increase our applicant pool, we have extended the application deadline to Friday, March 8.

MTSS Follow-Up - Action Item
Lisa put together this screencast that demonstrates our next steps:
1. Check students' tiers and interventionist (MTSS Data Day Records)
2. Remember if you're listed as the interventionist, you will need to
- Set a goal in Aimsweb (Directions)
- Record that goal & add intervention into Branching Minds (Directions)
- Deliver Intervention (guided reading or guided math)
- Progress monitor on Aimsweb (Tier2 every other week)
3. In your mailboxes, you should have received the change of intervention letters to be sent home to parents after you make contact with them. *We plan on starting new groups tomorrow!
Please let Lisa Hanna, Kristine Ashford, or Christine Zelaya know if any changes need to be made or if you have any questions!
Thank you so much for working so hard to make sure all of our students' needs are met!
