A Message from the Principals

Dear Millbridge Families,

We hope everyone had a fantastic break. It was nice seeing so many families at the PTO’s Chick-fil-A Spirit Night. In the upcoming weeks, we have two additional evening events to look forward to. On Tuesday, May 7th, we will have a special Philanthropy event at The Meadows. On Thursday, May 16th, we will have our annual Special Area Showcase from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm. The book fair will also be open on the 16th. Please be sure to mark your calendars and we hope to see you there.

BC-CAP Program for 1st and 2nd Grade Students & Parent Program

During the week of May 6th, we will be hosting a series of classroom visits in our 1st and 2nd-grade classrooms. The program is designed to help students:

  • Prevent abuse and bullying
  • Be assertive without being aggressive
  • Learn self-protection strategies to keep them safe from sexual abuse, abduction and other potentially dangerous situations.

IMPORTANT: Parking at Millbridge

We will have designated visitor spots for parents in the Millbridge parking lot. Currently, these spots are not numbered and will be clearly marked with signs in a couple of weeks. All spaces with numbers are assigned to staff and should not be used by visitors. Please help us by only parking in the designated visitor spaces.

If you are dropping off or picking up your child between the hours of 9:15 AM and 3:00 PM and all spots are taken, please use the bus lane as opposed to parking in a numbered space. As a reminder, there is always additional parking available on Conrow Road and Calvary Church.

2nd Grade Community Clean Up- 2nd Grade Parents Please Read!

All of our second graders, as part of our Millbridge School Green Team, will have an opportunity to participate in a cleanup at Delran High School on Wednesday, May 15th. The cleanup is sponsored by Sustainable Delran, Delran High School Green Team and the Millbridge School Green Team leaders, thanks to a Clean Communities Grant from the Burlington County Parks Department. Prior to the cleanup, your child will learn about the “Do’s and Don’ts” of touching trash, avoiding certain plants and animals, and general health and safety precautions. Students will walk from Millbridge the morning of May 15th, escorted by Delran police and staff, to Delran High School. The cleanup will conclude by 10:30 am. Please provide your child with sunscreen, a hat, long pants and socks with shoes, as well as water for the day. Trash bags and gloves will be provided.
