Special Guests

We had some special visitors at South Knoll! Paper engineer, designer, writer and speaker, Bruce Foster, presented to all of our students. Our students "oohed" and "ahhed" over his amazing work and stories. You may have even seen some of his work in Harry Potter or the movie Enchanted!

Third and Fourth grade students also had an opportunity to hear from author Lee Bacon. He talked to students about his job as a writer, how he became a published author and what it means to be successful.

Roller Skating

Thank you PTO for providing our third and fourth graders with the opportunity to roller skate during PE in February. We also owe a huge thanks to the parents who volunteered to help tie skates each day. We couldn't have done this without you! Check out a few pictures of the kids skating. There are even more pictures available on the South Knoll Elementary Facebook page.
