MSU Libraries Book Bonanza!
February 11, 2015
Save the date for the Murray State University Libraries 2nd Annual Book Bonanza!
We would like to invite 16 students from Henderson County to attend the 2015 MSU Libraries' Book Bonanza!
The Murray State University Libraries has over 1500 new children's books for all age levels - and we want to give them away! More specifically, we want to give some of these books to schools in Henderson County to be placed either in your school libraries or to be sent home with children you deem most in need.
Come to Murray State on February 11th, and bring with you 16 students of all age levels from Henderson County schools to pick out 160 books to take back to your schools. (That is 10 books per child!)
Please work with the other FRYSCKy contacts in your county to bring 4 students from the county in each age group:
- Grades K-2
- Grades 3-5
- Grades 6-8
- Grades 9-12
Wednesday, Feb. 11th 2015 at 10am-2pm
Large Ballroom, Curris Center, Murray State University
Murray State University will provide up to $200 towards transportation costs, and the MSU Office of Regional Outreach will provide lunch for everyone. After your students pick out 160 books, we will have them packed up and loaded into your buses or vans to home with you that day. Each student participating will be provided with a Murray State gift bag.
This event is sponsored by the Murray State University Libraries and the MSU Office of Regional Outreach. More information and an official RSVP form will follow in the new year. If you have any questions at this time, please contact Cris Ferguson at 270-809-5607 or email@example.com.
