Here is YOUR MOTIVATION!
Three VITAL Tips for Filling Your Calendar!
Without these three things, you really can't bring that consistent business to life!
1 - THE LIST. You have heard it 100 times I bet! You need a living, breathing list that you are CONSTANTLY growing and working through. A great goal is to keep 100 names on it at all times ... the more you reach out to that list, the more that list will grow. I PROMISE. These are not 100 besties and family members :) This list should have old customers, dream customers, neighbors, old neighbors, family, family friends, friends of friends, high school friends, college friends, childhood friends ... if you have a spouse/Significant other - put "your spouse's/SO's" in front of everything I just said. Old co workers, current co workers. Your hair stylists, your nail technician, your dentist. Your doctor. Your favorite barista. You get the idea. This is an EQUAL OPPORTUNITY LIST. This list is your way of making great connections not just for your business but for your life. You're not making a list of people you want to buy a necklace. These are people that you want to SHARE Stella & Dot with ... whether it's their opportunity to be a hostess or a stylist. You have a gift to offer. OFFER IT TO OTHERS. The others are those on your list. VITAL TO THE LIST: Your list is written down - with a pen or electronically. It's all in one place. It gives you a way to track the conversations you have. The follow ups you do. The methods that you do all of this are UP TO YOU. What is not up to you is the ACTUAL EXISTENCE OF THE LIST and the fact that it has a life of its own. K?
2. Now, step 2. WHEN are you going to reach out to the LIST? I don't mean like 'during the week." I mean like pull out the calendar, schedule it down in pen/or with a reminder on your digital calendar and ACTUALLY DO IT. Want to make 10 reach outs a day? Then you look at your calendar and see that you can make them from 12 - 1230 during your lunch break on THIS SPECIFIC DAY two times this week. It just doesn't work to put it on your "to - do list." It has to be a PRIORITY just like everything else you make a priority. If you want something from this, COMMIT TO THIS. The more you do this, the more you develop this muscle of consistent reach outs, and the more you will hear responses and the more shows you'll book, the more stylists you'll sponsor and the more your business will grow. Not sure you'll stick to it? TELL SOMEONE OUT LOUD that you're scheduling this and ask them to check in with you right before or after. This could be me, your upline, your stella pacing partner, your spouse, your bestie - but just know that it's OKAY TO NEED ACCOUNTABILITY. It's not always enough to hold ourselves accountable. A lot of times we NEED OTHERS TO HELP. We want to help. So let us.
3. And finally, step 3. That calendar you scheduled the reach outs in? It also has to know WHEN YOU WANT TO SHARE YOUR STELLA & DOT JOY. Do you want to make $1000 this month? Then you need 4-5 days marked in your calendar when you are FREE TO DO STYLE SESSIONS. $500 in commissions? Mark down 2-3 dates. (And so on)
This does a couple things. First - you can visualize yourself doing the shows a lot better if you know when you want to do them. Committing to the dates on your calendar gives you more stake in your goal to book them. Trust me on this one. I circle the dates I want to/can do shows and I basically compete with myself to fill the dates. I love doing two in one day! Brunch & Late Afternoon on a Sunday. So I'll break up the day and strategically make those reach outs.
The second thing knowing the dates you want to book does is HELP YOU BOOK THE DATES! When you are doing your reach outs, offering two specific dates in the next 14 days actually makes booking easier. It allows the hostess to zone in on this and makes it happen so much faster. You have something SO FUN to offer and you don't want to have the fun in 2 months. You want to have the fun in the next 2 weeks :) So when you know the dates you want to book, you'll feel more confident, and You will control the process of getting the date booked.
And honestly y'all. That's it. That's the "Secret" of keeping trunk shows/style sessions on your calendar in a consistent manner. Know WHO you're reaching out to, know when you're going to reach out, and know WHAT you have to offer.
