Bronx welcomes Sandy Hook cyclist
Organizing for Action - Bronx Chapter
Bronx & Harlem unite to welcome Sandy Hook Ride on Washington
Saturday, March 8, 2014 we are meeting in front of Hostos Community College, 500 Grand Concourse at 3:00 PM, and then walking to the bridge to cheer on the Sandy Hook Ride on Washington Team 26 cyclist as they ride through town. Team 26 cyclist "carry the message of peace, hope and love" on behalf of Newton, Bronx, Harlem, and other communities across the United States.
Lets join our voices, Bronx rhythm and vibrant smiles and creative posters to stand in solidarity against gun violence and the need for gun violence prevention. We will conclude our cheering over to the Welcome Ceremony at the National Action Network, 106 West 145th Street at 4:00 PM, where some very prominent leaders will discuss the action plan for change towards reducing gun violence in our communities. United we send a very loud message, Gun violence has no place in our communities and communities nation wide!
Hope to see you there! RSVP by emailing us organizingforactionbronx@gmail.com
