Economy and industrialisation

The industrial Revolution was late and slow only in Basque Country, Catalonia and the large cities.

Most of the population still worked in the fields. Englando or Germany used advanced machinary.

The railway, didn´t appear until the second half of the century.

Society

The bourgeoisie became rich and dominant social class.

The industrial Revolution brought social problems as harsh working conditions and child exploitation in rural areas, the peasants lived in extream poverty. The reason for the political demands or the working class.
