Small Groups - The group reading Freckle Juice has finished and moved on to Double Fudge! The kids reading about Sheila Tubman and the city of Ember are just a fraction of the way through their novels. During small group instruction we work daily of main idea and making inferences.
Read Aloud - We will definitely finish Ruby Holler next week. I'm sad it's going to be over.
Social Studies - The kids have a new book to read called The Scoop on Clothes, Homes, and Daily Life in Colonial America. They are about to get a taste of what daily life was like!
PAWS - Just a reminder that PAWS assignments are due on Friday. Kids will have to take their assignment home and work on it for 10-15 minutes a night. There is some class time, but generally not enough to complete the assignment. The next PAWS is due Friday, January 20th. Kids have the new assignment just in case they want to get a jump start....short week next week!
