- Shout out to Hopkins for always staying to help out lunch/recess duties when not scheduled to be on duty.
- Shout out to Ms. Offor for helping hold down the fort with all of the substitutes this week!
- Special THANK YOU to all of the Instructional Aides who help us out on the daily! You are VERY appreciated!!!
- Shout out to AP Townsend for asking us for our opinions about the new budget next year. You went out of your way to make sure that your staff was able to have their voices heard. Thank you!
- Kudos to the Staff Members who stayed and endured the 5 hour LSAT Meeting and reported to work the next day!
- I would like to give Ms. Offor a shoutout for always remaining calm during all situations and supporting staff as much as she can.
- Kudos to SCAC for advocating and not being afraid to speak up for others!
- Kudos to the Ms. Hyde and Ms. Green for always supporting the 1st and 2nd graders.
- Kudos to Ms. Kirby for always providing appropriate behavior supports for our scholars!
- To Mrs. Brown for leading our BLACK HISTORY facts for the month. On behalf of the Culture and Climate committee.
- To Phillpotts for always supporting 3-5A on my behalf by kicking off lunch-recess and maintaining control when I’m running behind or finishing with a matter. -Kirby

- Senorita Amaya for always purposefully checking in on students with behavior concerns when seen with the behavior team with rebuke and encouragement that results in additional reinforcements. - Kirby
- Mrs. Kraemer for always willfully supporting with crafts for student to staff projects with enthusiasm and follow through. Much appreciated .
- Kudos to our Behavior Team for always being a wonderful support to all our students and families. We are appreciative to have all 3 of you!

- Shout out to Ms. Williams (student teacher) and Ms. Lewis for going above and beyond in support of a student.
- Thank you Ms. Woodard for supporting the 5th graders with their transition to middle school by supporting middle school visits and future family resource events.
- Thank you Ms. Kirby for continuing to support students that need basic supplies and resources. Students are excited to come to class knowing they are prepared.
- Thank you Ms. Dorsey for continuing to successfully run our afterschool programming.
- Thank you Ms. Shephard for stepping into the role of Science teacher for 3rd-5th grade! Your commintemnt and excitement to teach the students at Miner is greatly appreciated.
Operations
- Students should not ride the elevator unless they are injured or require it as an accomdoation.
- If you were unable to provide feedback in the budget meetings, please email Principal Jackson with feedback by noon on February 3rd, 2020.
- To keep accurate data of all employees time it's very important that everyone sign-in and sign-out every day. When signing in and out please write legibly so we can understand the time you're writing on the timesheets. We want to make sure everyone is being paid the correct hours worked. Also, if there is an emeregency, the log provides information with regards to who is in the building.
Climate and Culture
- Please remember that students should not be sent out of the room unattended. If a student requires support and a member of hte climate and culture team is visiable - please call the main office for assistance and someone will come support your needs.
