Wednesday, March 1st Early Release Professional Development Day
Wednesday, March 1st is an early release professional development day for our staff. Scholars will be dismissed at 1:15pm. There will be no athletic practices or after school programming on Wednesday. The modified schedule for Wednesday is attached to the newsletter. Prior to our professional development training we will have a staff potluck in the media center from 1:30-2:00. Please reference the email that was sent out by Ms. Pierce to confirm food assignments for the potluck.

Monday:What could you do today to help you develop better relationships with your peers?
Tuesday: What are some things you do in the classroom that you believe can help other people learn?
Wednesday: What are some problems you see in the school that you believe the adults should be working to solve?
Thursday: What class activities or assignments help you learn the most?
Friday: What actions are you taking today to help you reach your goals in the future?
Friday's PBIS Event (Student vs. Faculty Basketball Games)
On Friday we will have our PBIS incentive event for our traditional school scholars. All scholars who have perfect attendance between Feb. 21st & March 2nd and who have not been assigned ISS or OSS during the same time frame will be eligible to attend our student vs. faculty basketball game on Friday. We will have a game for each grade level and we are inviting parents to join us in the fun. The games will be held during the elective periods for each grade level. Grade level teachers are strongly encouraged to attend and support with supervision, volunteer in the concession stand or parent sign-up booth, participate in the game or cheer squad. The 6th grade game will begin at 11:00. The 7th grade game will begin at 12:45 and the 8th grade game will begin at 2:00.

Track & Field Tryouts Wednesday, February 27th
Wednesday, February 22nd track & field tryouts will begin immediately after school. Scholars who are interested in trying out must have a current health physical turned in to our Athletic Director, Ms. Oberlin and must have a GPA of 2.0 or higher.
