Rep. Kevin Brady

Kevin Brady is a republican representative from Texas. He is a pro-family and pro-small business U.S representative from the 8th district of Texas. A champion of free enterprise and American-made energy, Kevin’s focus is creating jobs, reducing Washington spending and sunsetting obsolete federal agencies. On the Social Security Subcommittee, Kevin is fighting to preserve this important program for future generations once and for all.

Home Office

Kevin never moved to Washington D.C because he wanted to stay close to the people he represents so he resides in Montgomery county with his wife and kids. He has racked up quite a few flyer miles from going to and from Texas to D.C.

Has the Huntsville District Office in Huntsville, Texas and the zip code is 77340.

Segment 63 Dorms to Diplomas

College and graduate school enrollment is 81 percent. Some students live on campus while others off campus in apartments. Computers are a necessity and Internet is very accessible to search for jobs, do research and to keep in touch with family. Students enjoy going to sporting events, rock concerts and movies.

Segment 55 College Towns

Education is the key for many college town residents. Some live in dorms while some live off-campus in low rent apartments. Convenience is the primary consideration for food; residents frequently eat out, order in, or eat easy to prepare meals. Many own a laptop. In their leisure time many exercise, watch movies, hangout, play video games and got to bars.

Segment 14 Prosperous Empty Nesters

Empty Nester neighborhoods are well established and all around the U.S. Residents are enjoying the stage between child rearing and retirement. Take pride in the physical and financial well being and take active interest in their homes and communities. They travel a lot both home and abroad. Leisure activities include reading and playing golf. Civic duties include event fund raising and volunteering.

Plank: "Today that American Dream is at risk"

Rationale: This platform affirms that America has always been a place of grand dreams and even grander realities; and so it will be again, if we return government to its proper role, making it smaller and smarter. If we restructure government’s most important domestic programs to avoid their fiscal collapse. If we keep taxation, litigation, and regulation to a minimum. If we celebrate success, entrepreneurship, and innovation. If we lift up the middle class. If we hand over to the next generation a legacy of growth and prosperity, rather than entitlements and indebtedness.

Plank: "Conservation is a conservative value"

Rationale: A policy protecting these objectives, however, must balance economic development and private property rights in the short run with conservation goals over the long run. Also, public access to public lands for recreational activities such as hunting, fishing, and recreational shooting should be permitted on all appropriate federal lands.

Plank: "The institution of marriage is the foundation of civil society"

Rationale: It has been proven by both experience and endless social science studies that traditional marriage is best for children. Children raised in intact married families are more likely to attend college, are physically and emotionally healthier, are less likely to use drugs or alcohol, engage in crime, or get pregnant outside of marriage. Even as we believe that marriage, the union of one man and one woman must be upheld as the national standard, a goal to stand for, encourage, and promote through laws governing marriage.

Plank: "A Failed National Security Strategy"

Rationale: The current Administration’s leaks of classified information have imperiled intelligence assets which are vital to American security. This conduct is contemptible. It betrays our national interest. It compromises our men and women in the field. And it demands a full and prompt investigation by a special counsel. Equally threatening to the long-term strength and safety of our Armed Forces are the current Administration’s efforts to sacrifice our national security for political gain and a partisan agenda.
