19 Last Day for Students
Hello RHK8 Families,
It's hard to believe that the end of this school year is so quickly approaching, but the Memorial Day weekend brings a reminder of this. Among the highlights this week was our whole school assembly where we watched the middle school performance of the Wizard of Oz. What talent our students have and so many amazing adults who helped them to shine. Here's the news for this week.
Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon
Our volunteers are AMAZING and it's time to thank them for all their great work. We will be having a salad bar lunch for our volunteers on Wednesday, May 30 during our lunch times. The sign up sheet is in the office near the volunteer computer. Volunteers please join us to honor you.
Future Night 2018
Future Night 2018 is coming! May 31st at 6:00 PM join us for Inspiration, Interaction, and Fun! Booths of student-made tech and STEM projects plus a visit from the Future Bus. Check out more at the website http://tinyurl.com/rhk8futurenight
Library News
Hi, we are working hard to get all our books back. All books are due back on June 6th. After June 6th, checkout is on a case by case basis. Currently we are checking out 1 book at a time to help us get all books back. I'll send out notices weekly of all books checked out to help families track books.
Washington County Library is visiting our school to promote Summer Reading. Be sure to sign up for free prizes, free programs and lots of fun.
Raleigh Hills Clothes Closet
I hope you all have a good Memorial Day! It's an important time to reflect on our country's history, to appreciate those who serve in our military, and to honor and remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice. Take care and enjoy your weekend.
Sincerely,
Peter
