Double Trouble
Who is responsible for the death of Romeo and Juliet???
Double Trouble
Mercutio is responsible for Romeo and Juliets death because he started the fight that killed him and made Romeo go kill Tybalt and get banished. Act 3 scene 1 states, "...will you pluck your sword out of his pitcher by the ears? Make haste, lest mine be about your ears ere it be out..." ( Act 3 Scene 1). This shows that Mercutio is egging on the situation and asking Tybalt to fight him.
Tybalt is also responsible for Romeo and Juliet's death because he could've left, but instead he fought and killed Mercutio, which caused Romeo to retaliate and kill Tybalt and get banished. Act 3 Scene 1 states, "...will you pluck your sword out of his pitcher by the ears? Make haste, lest mine be about your ears ere it be out....i am for you..." (Act 3 Scene 1). This shows that Tybalt refused to not fight and told Mercutio that he is ready to fight him.
In the song, "Eve of Destruction By Barry Mcguire" it is showing that one persons hatred towards one another causes a death. This is how Tybalt died because Romeo hatred and rage made him go and kill Tybalt. In this link "https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I98KeKV_F9g" on 1:04 it shows how someones rage can kill someone.
In the book, "Getting Revenge on Lauren Wood By Eileen Cook" is showing that when her best friend does something wrong she wants to get even with her. This is how Romeo also felt when Mercutio died, he wanted Tybalt to pay for what he did to Meructio. In this link, "https://books.google.com/books/about/Getting_Revenge_on_Lauren_Wood.html?id=GLbpRAAACAAJ&hl=en" it has the description of the book and the cover of the book.
These to people are responsible because Romeo even tried to break it up and they continued and they didn't even have to fight if Mercutio never took it that far, but Tybalt could've just walked away also.
