Principal's Message
We are excited to the Season of Advent. We were blessed to have Fr. Grismer lead our School and Parish Mission this week. He encouraged our students to be friends with Jesus. The Catholic Digest provides instructions how we can renew our friendship with Him during Advent : "During Advent, we should do our best to consider all three of these manifestations of Christ in our lives: the physical, the imminently present, and the glorious return in future days. For Advent is not only a season in which we look ahead, but encompasses the entirety of time itself, much like our God. No point in our lives is without him, and it would be best, in this season of preparation to consider how our lives have been spent in service to the Lord, and how we can better use the upcoming year to improve ourselves in anticipation of that final day."
Parents, we thank you for reinforcing this message with your children at home and we are grateful for your partnership.
** Please Saint of the Day (<click here) for next week. We encourage parents to review the Saint of the Day with their children. We also post it daily on our Facebook Page (<click here)
****We are proud to introduce our new school website: https://edu.stmichaelcp.org/ Please access this website for all school information including school lunch (located at the bottom of the website) and educonnect.(top of the website under " Parents" tab.)

Dear Parents,
As a reminder, St. Michael the Archangel School is participating in the President’s Volunteer Service Award Program. The Award recognizes United States citizens who have achieved minimum hours of service over a 12-month time period, which for SMA will run from April 1, 2021-March 31, 2022.
Any SMA student who performs 26 (ages 5-10) or 50 (ages 11-15) or more hours of service will be recognized for their efforts with a pin bearing the Presidential Seal, a certificate, and a letter of recognition from the President.
It is an amazingly simple process - just keep track of service hours. A log is located on the VSL website at https://sites.google.com/view/smavsl/presidential-service-award?authuser=0 You MUST fill out the first page completely and include it with the signed log. Forms must be submitted to the front office by April 1, 2022. Due to the tight turnaround deadline, we cannot accept forms after that date. Forms may be turned in early.
If you have any questions, email Megan Morris at morrisfamily516@gmail.com.
