BE SAFE ONLINE
Chesters Are Everywhere!
Be Careful What You Send...
Cyber bullying is a serious and common problem today. This is sending mean comments, texts, or posting about someone negatively, such as making fun of them, teasing, or making someone fell bad. Bullying is a crime... Don't do it.
Be Careful Who You Talk To...
Online Predators are lurking all around. Don't give out any personal information such as address, phone number, pictures of yourself, and any other info that people could use to find you.
Be Careful Who You Meet With...
Online Predators will try to meet with you ,and will most likely do anything to do it. DO NOT go and meet someone you have met online, they usually use fake identities to fool you. If someone does ask to meet you, tell an adult immediately.
Be Careful What You Post...
When you post something, it can spread in minutes. Online Predators can see these, and know where you live, where you are at the moment, what you look like, and what you're doing. Even if you have privacy mode on, people take screenshots and send it to others or repost it on other social media sites.
Don't Cheat...
Using the internet to cheat is not good. It is not fair for anyone else and does everything but help you. It harms you in the future and creates bad study habits. Also, sending pictures of tests and assignments can get you a zero and in serious trouble.
