Dentists are healthcare professionals who provide preventive and restorative treatments for problems that affect the mouth and teeth. Most dentist start their own business or can join a team with a decent salary of $200,000. It requires a college education of 4 years with some exceptions, as well as good communication skills not only just to the patient but to your assistant as well.


Becoming a dentist requires many responsibilities such as educating your patient on oral healthcare, maintaining patients dental records, and managing budgets and maintaining stocks of equipment. If you start up your own business you must be willing to work above 40 hours a week to get your business up and running.
