Synopsis
The movie is based off of a real story. Oscar Grant lll was a 22-year old man the day he was killed. He was a struggling young man trying to provide for his family, girlfriend & young daughter. Flashbacks reveal the last day in Oscar's life, where he & his friends went to San Francisco to watch the fireworks on New Year's Eve. On the way back home, he was caught in an altercation with police that ended in a tragedy.
Favorite
I don't really have a favorite part from the movie. I didn't know anything about this story until I saw the commercials on TV back in 2013.
Recommendation
I honestly recommend everyone to watch this movie. Watching it opened my eyes as of how the police take violent actions other than just citizens. It will open your eyes to show you that not everyone is financially stable & they make take wrong paths just to find the right one. This movie will leave you emotionally paralyzed.
