Parents of Buckingham, Bridge Valley, Cold Spring, Linden, Warwick, Holicong, and CB East:
The administration of the schools in the “CB East Cluster” would like to invite you to join us on March 18th at 7 pm at Holicong Middle School for a “Tale of Two Technologies” Town Hall meeting. The topic of the evening is to create a dialogue regarding the role technology plays, both good and bad, with the children of our community.
Our guests for the evening will include Assistant District Attorney Matt Weintraub, Brandon Lutz from the Bucks County Intermediate Unit, Detective Rob McLeod from the Buckingham Police Department, and Detective Dante Montella from the Warwick Police Department. Our local experts will share their expertise on a wide range of topics, including cyberbullying and other dangers of social media, but will also review the current apps that are popular with students and offer advice how we can speak to our children about how they use technology. House Principal Martin Hayes from CB East will also share how we are using technology in our schools to engage students and enhance instruction.
In order to assist us in making this evening as beneficial as possible for our parents, we have created a link for you to include any questions or concerns you have regarding the topic of technology – http://www.quia.com/sv/692721.html.
We will share these with our presenters in advance and address them that evening. The Town Hall is meant to be interactive and we will take questions that evening, so please bring your own mobile device.
We are excited to offer this event to the parents of our local community and hope you can join us on March 18th at 7 pm at Holicong.

Help raise $ in honor of Mrs. Newfield & get some great spring desserts!
If our school sells 125 desserts from this flyer for the month of March, we will be able to contribute over $550 to the Mrs. Newfield’s Memorial Tile Mural. If we sell 500 (1 per family), $3375 will be donated! WHATEVER the number, all dessert proceeds go towards the Memorial Tile Mural! Let’s do it again this year!
Desserts come frozen and can stay in the freezer and are easily thawed for any occasion. The pies with crust require some baking.
Write your order on this form and share with families and friends or purchase the pies online at www.MarketDay.com. If you are a new online customer to Market Day, use the code NEWFIVE to save $5 if you spend over $25. Pie orders with additional food orders also count towards the goal we are trying to achieve.
Make checks payable to Market Day either in advance or when picking up on Wednesday, March 25th from 4:20-5:30. If other pick up arrangements need to be made, let us know in advance. Contact Lisa Pitts at 215-230-0848 or L_Pitts@hotmail.com or Christine Gold at firstname.lastname@example.org.
