Go Fourth!
News & tidits from 4th grade at HRRS
Wednesday, February 3, 2016
I'm sorry for the lateness of this week's newsletter. This will be a quick and abbreviated version. I will just be highlighting some upcoming events.
We are in the middle of our Catholic Schools Week, Flip-flop Day, to be exact. There are quite a few pint-sized teachers around the school today; and not nearly as many students as normal. :)
Thursday, February 4 (tomorrow) - Grandparents Day/ Mass- come dressed in regular uniform. Grandparents may come to Mass with their grandchild. After Mass there will be a short assembly/presentation with music upstairs in the cafeteria. There will be tea and cookies to share. Grandparents then visit in the classroom until noon.
Friday, February 5- color wars- come dressed in as much green from head to toe as you can manage. Assembly and Bible Trivia
Progress Reports and Conferences Progress Reports will be sent home in today's Communication Envelope. Progress Reports are a simplified snapshot of your child's progress this trimester. Conferences at this second trimester are only as needed; requested by the teacher or parent. I will be communicating individually with a few of you whom I would like to touch base with regarding your child's progress at this point.
Because of a scheduling error on my end, they will not be taking place on Friday , Feb. 12, but will be before or after school this week or next in 15-20 minute time slots.
Feel free to email me or touch base with me after school if you have some concerns or questions regarding your child as well.
There you go, short and sweet! Have a great day,
Mrs. Marthie Ramos
