Job Description/Duties
Marine Biologists study the origins, behavior, diseases, and life processes of animals and wildlife of the marine environment. They also may specialize in wildlife research and including the collection and analysis of biological data to determine the environmental effects of present and potential use of land and water areas.
Environmental relationship between the environment and job
A sub field of marine biology, studies the relationships between oceans and ocean life. Global warming and environmental issues. Most marine biologists are intensely interested in protecting our oceans, and believing that by protecting the ocean environment, we ensure survival for all species.
Advantages
- The more you learn how to be a marine biologist, the more you get paid.
- You can have interaction with a variety of animals you have never seen or touched.
You get to go and scuba dive, and get to go on lots of trips to different places.
Disadvantages
- Takes a lot of years to become a marine biologist.
- Research can be long and boring, or if you can't find what you are looking for.
- You have to take care of a dead animals, or treat some sick animals that are dieing.
- And swimming with animals you absolutely don’t like. Like swimming with sharks or jellyfish.

However, with scientists believing that there are a lot many marine species yet to be discovered or found, that number is likely to increase by multiple proportions.
