AMHS Weekly Update
August 30,2021- September 2,2021
Time Management and Study Skills
It is important that your student develops strong time management and study skills to help them be successful at Arabia Mountain High School. The development of these skills will help students to better manage classroom and homework assignments while at the same time help them to perform better on assessments. It is imperative that students break larger projects or tasks into smaller pieces to help them manage them better. Encouraging your student to study daily, by reviewing class notes, completing practice problems, previewing course content are a few ways to help them to gain a better understanding of the course content. It is encouraged that students spend time grappling with course material, as this is a significant part of their learning. Students are encouraged to write down questions so that they may ask during class or tutorial sessions. Our core content tutorials will begin on Tuesday, September 7th. The Core Content tutorial will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30 pm -4:30 pm.
Tuesdays- Math and English
