Principal's Message
Our parent/guardian organizations (SFCP and Home & School) have taken a leadership roles in ensuring our students Social Emotional Learning is addressed in and out of the classroom. Earlier this year our SFCP (School Family Community Partnership) hosted a movie night that featured Kamala Martinez the CEO/Executive Director of KidsMatter (a not-for-profit organization in Naperville with a mission is to build resilient kids) connecting the feelings within the movie Inside Out to real emotional challenges faced by our students. This month we are able to continue our commitment to students social emotional development thanks an assembly provided by Steeple Run's Home and School organization. On Wednesday, January 16th all students will be able to see Forward Motion BMX an anti-bullying presentation led by Matt Wilhelm former X-Games and BMX bike champion.
We are so thankful for Steeple Run's Home & School Organization bringing this exciting event to our students and for our parent/guardian organizations continued support in our commitment to the continued academic and social emotional development of our students!
Proud to be a Super Star!
Principal Louis
At Steeple Run we believe technology is a powerful tool that can be used strategically to enhance students' ability to meet academic challenges. We also recognize that technology can bring challenges, particularly social media which can heighten the social challenges of childhood and adolescence.
