A Message from Our Principal

Hello Wildcats,

As we begin the last month of the year, I am reflecting on how fortunate we are to spend the last two months of each year thinking of others. We start off in November being thankful for everyone and everything in our lives. We tell others why they are special to us and how they have impacted our lives. Then, we get another month to think about what we might be able to give to those who are important to us.

I do not mean store purchased gifts necessarily, but sharing your thoughts on paper and giving meaningful letters to those who have impacted your life. Store bought gifts can be wonderful, of course, and perhaps you know the perfect gift to buy for the person and people you care about the most. However, if the perfect gift eludes you and you want to make sure the people you love KNOW that you love them, then writing letters to them can be a perfect gift.

When you give someone a letter that contains all the wonderful ways they have helped make you a better person, how they have made you laugh, how they have lifted your spirits, how they have made your world a better place, then they will have those words to read over and over again, for years to come. You won’t even know the positive impact your letter will have on another person. That person can read your letter whenever they want or need to, all because you will have taken the time to tell them, in writing, how wonderful life is because they are a part of yours.

So very Proud to be a part of this Pride,

Maura Bennington, Principal
