Farm Day Field Trip

Our students had a fun time visiting Kutz Dairy Farm. We we were able to pet many farm animals and learned things about how the farm works. See the pictures below of us on our field trip!

Artist in Residence!

On Monday we kicked off our new Artist in Residence with a musician named Chesney Snow. He will be using the skill of beat boxing to help the students create stories with sound. We have had the opportunity to beat box with him and it has been so much fun!

Literacy

Quarter 4 theme is inspiration and innovation!

Reader's Workshop

We have been reading about many different kinds of inventions that have been made by kids all over the world!

Writer's Workshop

In writer's workshop we have been creating our own invention and writing a persuasive ad/flyer to convince someone to buy our invention. We will also be making a commercial for our invention!

Ask your child... What invention did you think of? How are you persuading others to buy it in your ad/flyer?

Forward Exam is over!

The Forward Exam is officially over for fourth grade! Our students have worked hard and put forth their best effort on this difficult test. We will be having a whole school celebration in the next couple of weeks! Congratulations on all your hard work fourth graders!
