The Big Library Read

The SHS Library is excited to join 21,000 libraries around the world in The Big Library Read hosted by Sora Overdrive. Our entire school can simultaneously read or listen to Darcie Little Badger's indigenous fantasy novel A Snake Falls to Earth from November 2-16! To access this novel, open Sora from HelloID or download the Sora app on your personal device and log in using your school email and password. See the SHS Library Canvas page for more information!

AP Exam Deadline is Approaching

Don't forget to purchase your AP Exam.

Deadline for purchasing an AP Exam is November 10.

Students interested in purchasing an AP exam must do so by November 10 to avoid an additional $40.00 late fee.

Please bring the pink registration paperwork to the bookkeeper along with your payment. If you require assistance with payment please see your counselor or Mr. Rose.


Should you require testing accommodations, the deadline for AP test accommodations is January 18 see your counselor for assistance.

Macho Volleyball

Calling all Macho Male Panthers! Macho Volleyball is coming up on Saturday, November 19 at 12:30 p.m.at Glacier Peak. Sign-ups are in the main office now! It is $10 per player. Start building your team of 6-10 so we can take back the title from Glacier Peak. The Panther volleyball girls will be hosting some practices to help perfect your skills- be listening for details! If you have questions or need a team, see Mrs. Barstad or Mr. Ivelia. The tournament will be held at GPHS this year, so mark your calendars to cheer on your favorite team. Admission for spectators is $3 with ASB & $5 without.

Winter Sports Tryouts/First Practice begin Monday, November 14, 2022

RankOne electronic forms & a current physical should be on file in the athletic office by November 7 to make sure athletes are cleared for Tryouts/First Practice.

To reach RankOne: Go to the Snohomish High School website / Athletics /Sport Sign up Information & click the link for RankOne electronic forms.

  • Do not enter the beginning 0 when entering your Student ID.
  • Your name needs to be entered as in Skyward/Family Access.

Physicals need to be valid thru the sports season.

Physicals are to be turned in only to athletic office staff.

Non – Snohomish School District physical forms do not always meet the criteria for approval from the athletic office.

Current physicals may be delivered to the athletic office or scanned to Ellen.Lipinski@sno.wednet.edu

Pictures sent from cell phones will not be accepted due to not being able to print to letter size.

College Visits

College visits are held during Panther Period or afterschool (2:20 p.m.) in the College & Career Center. During the college visits, the admissions representative will be there to provide information and answer questions. All students are welcome to attend! Visits coming up:

November 9, Panther Period – Carroll College

November 14, 2:20 p.m. – Central Washington University

December 1, 2:20 p.m. - Pacific Northwest College of Art

2023-2024 FASFA and WASFA Now Open!

Seniors, the best place to start when you are looking for money for college, tech school or trade school, is by filling out the online Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or the Washington Application for State Financial Aid (WASFA, for undocumented and select non-citizens). The information from these applications will be shared with the colleges you apply to and will determine your eligibility for financial aid.

Deliveries to Campus

A reminder to students & families, outside deliveries will not be accepted for students, this includes food deliveries from local establishments, Uber Eats, Door Dash, etc. Parents, you may drop off lunches or forgotten items in the main office and students may pick them up during lunch or between classes. Items will not be delivered to students in the classroom. Thank you for your understanding.
