About Ironwood Capital Management

Founded in 1996 as an alternative investment manager, Ironwood Capital Management (“Ironwood”) focuses solely on investing in low-volatility hedge funds that provide consistent returns with limited correlation to equity and fixed income markets. Ironwood offers two investment vehicles with conservative risk and return objectives: a registered investment company and a traditional 3(c)7 investment partnership.

Ironwood can serve as a core alternative investment allocation, as a complement to other investments in a diversified portfolio. Ironwood has about $3 billion in assets under management as of the first quarter of 2016, and received Institutional Investor magazine’s Small Fund of Hedge Funds Manager of the Year Award in both 2013 and 2015.

Led by chief executive officer and president Jonathan Gans, the company is wholly owned by its 32 employees and six equity owners.
