Kudos to Danya Gardner for being thoughtful, compassionate AND a GREAT leader and team player (Department Head). Thank you for always jumping in to help with any sub shortages and taking our call pleasantly!!
- Marbel Donosso
Thank you to Emilee Hinegardner and Philip Williams for helping me to chaperon 53 HMS ladies to Texas State University for the Herstories Conference to promote STEM fields. Your help was most appreciated! Thank you to Ms. Scott for allowing us this opportunity. Thank you to Mr. Thompson for helping me with the logistics of this field trip. Thank you to the 7th Grade Science Teachers, Jean Sarre and Savion Wright for helping me to identify additional 7th Grader ladies with an interest in STEM fields. I am especially grateful to Maribel Charles for opening up the cafeteria and serving breakfast to my girls at 6:45 am. The girls have come back saying things like, "I need to make good grades, I need to go to college, I want to go to Texas State University, I need to never give up on my goals despite obstacles." All of you helped to make this day a success!
- Beth Dees
Kudos to Mariah Faust and Kera Blay on two evenings of back-to-back Theatre II Showcases!
- Sarah Martinez
A big shout out to Ms. Tucker and Ms. Urban for hooking me up with some coffee when I dropped mine. I would've been one grumpy teacher, but that turned my day around!
- Timothy Peck
Kudos to Mrs. Reininger, Kino, and Mr. Sanchez for ALWAYS being willing to help out when we are short on subs. You make my job easier, I appreciate you!!
