Description: EMATHS engages teachers with the content, pedagogy, and use of embedded technology that is needed to support students in developing proficiency with the Common Core State Standards for content and practices. The goals of this series are to:
- increase content knowledge and deepen insights into mathematics
- maximize the effective use of technology in instruction
- increase use of research-based pedagogies to incorporate more effective use of classroom discourse, inquiry, and mathematical modeling
- deepen understanding of formative assessment for improved instruction in Algebra I
