A Weekly Newsletter for Warrior Families and Students
April 3, 2020
Message from the Principal
Hey Warrior Nation,
Let me begin with I MISS YOU!!! There is just no way to replace the energy and the strong sense of community created when you fill MHS with our amazing students and families. Yes, we are doing our best to continue impactful learning online, but it just can’t replace your smiles and your cheers at the countless events you attend to show your support of our Warriors.
This week we would have hosted our April Academic and Career Planning (ACP) session. Rather than creating another wrinkle in our schedule, I shared a message and video with all of our students. The video, Rooted In Love, is hosted by a gentleman we have used in other ACP lessons. It is a very powerful message and I believe it provides perspective for all of us. If you have not seen it yet, please take 5 minutes and give it a view. It may help frame some of the unique opportunities we have during this time.
That being said, I truly hope you are doing well. I am a huge believer that trials and adversity can often bring out the best in people. It has been both inspiring and humbling to hear about our students, families, teachers, staff, community members, and alumni rising to this challenging time. You continue to search for ways to make a positive difference in our world. To me, that is what makes us Warriors. We rise to the challenge, we support one another, we offer grace as we learn together, and most importantly, we never lose hope. Yes, these are uncertain times, but I am certain we will make it through together, as a community of Warriors.
Muskego is an amazing place because of all of you!
Take care, reach out to friends and families, and stay healthy.

State Level Testing
April 4th ACT date is Postponed
The safety of students and test center staff is ACT’s top priority. ACT has rescheduled its April 4 national test date to June 13 across the U.S. in response to concerns about the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19). All students registered for the April 4 test date will receive an email from ACT in the next few days informing them of the postponement and instructions for free rescheduling to June 13 or a future national test date.
Due to the current National Health Emergency, as declared by President Trump, and the current social distancing guidelines and mass gathering restrictions, as ordered by Governor Evers, Muskego High School will be postponing its 2020 Prom. Furthermore, Governor Evers "Safer at Home" order runs through Friday, April 24th.
