From the Principal's Desk - Below Zero Temperatures

When the "real feel" or "feels like" temperature is below zero (including wind chill factor), students will have indoor recess. You may track the temperature with us on

If it is snowing and zero or above, the students will go outside for recess.

Please make sure children have snow boots and snow pants. Students who have wet clothes or shoes will not be able to call home. If you need assistance with snow gear contact Mrs. Marzahl our school counselor 920-751-6980.

Kindergarten Hearing Screening

The school nurse will be performing a non-invasive hearing screening of the kindergarten students on Monday, January 25th. If you do not want your child's hearing to be screened, please notify the Taft office.

Hello Instrumental Music Parents

Your young musicians brought home a form this week for the NEENAH MUSICIAN T-SHIRT PROJECT (attached to this email in case it is lost in a back pack somewhere). ALL musicians need a red "Neenah Musicians" t-shirt for our Spring Concert. Band students will also wear them for Band O'Rama in February. Some of you may already have a shirt from the summer music program, the 5th grade choir this fall or from older brothers or sisters. Those of you that need them, please return the form with $5.00 to school during this week's instrumental music lessons. Due date isJANUARY 15th. If you can not afford the $5.00 fee, please return the completed form with the box checked requesting financial assistance. (There is also a place to donate money to help cover the cost of those that can't afford. Thank you in advance for considering this).

Please let me know if you have any further questions.

The district office will be sending enrollment information to families with children age-eligible for four and five-year-old kindergarten prior to theFebruary 8-12 enrollment period.

If you currently have a child in the District's 4K program and intend to enroll in 5K, you do not have to complete an enrollment packet. Please contact District Office at 751-6800 ext. 10113 if you do not plan to attend 5K.
