Examining and Reflecting on Our Current Practices
As we approach our final quarter of the 2017-18 school year, it is important to reflect on our current practices in the classroom. What worked? What needs to be changed? One way we are refining our practices is through identifying the grade level essential standards and recording specific behaviors our students will exhibit to show mastery of those standards. The next step is to look at our classroom practices to determine if how we teach the material is the most effective. Emily shared an article with me about practices we should abandon in our instruction. The link is below. I'm curious to hear your thoughts.
