Marvelous Mathematician News - Mrs. Phariss
This is the last week for Marvelous Mathematician! Problems will go home today with all Kindergarten students.
Schedule for Marvelous Mathematicians
April 28 – Kinder, due May 2
Teacher Appreciation Week - May 1st - 5th
Teacher Appreciation Week is next week, and we are "Wild About Our Teachers"! This is a time to say thank you to our teachers for all they do for our students. We have come up with a daily theme to show your appreciation for your child’s teacher(s).
- Monday – “No Monkeying Around - We LOVE Our Teachers” – write a short note, or draw a picture, for your teacher
- Tuesday – “Trunk Full of Treats” – stock the workroom with the teachers' favorite treats for them to enjoy throughout the day
- Wednesday – “It's a Jungle Out There” – TBA
- Thursday –“No Lion - Our Teachers Are the Best” – bring your teacher her favorite school supply
- Friday –“Thanks for Guiding Us” – lunch provided by PTO
I know I am a little...ok, a LOT...biased, but I think our teachers are AMAZING!
Spring Book Fair - April 28-May 5
Volunteer Appreciation Brunch - May 5th
STAAR Tests - May 8th and 9th
Are You Returning?
Student Placement Profiles - PK-2nd grade only
As at any campus, the faculty for next year may change throughout the spring and summer due to personal choice, personnel changes and campus needs/growth. Therefore, specific teacher requests for your child will not be accepted.
We would like to give parents the opportunity to share their thoughts regarding their PK-2nd grade child's characteristics and needs within the learning community. Again, specific teacher requests will not be accepted. If you would like to provide input for your child, please fill out the Student Placement Profile and return to the front office on or before Friday, May 12th. This is a firm deadline. Forms submitted after this date will not be considered.
