Good day Midway Mustangs
This Friday Mustangs can wear their spirit wear. Also on Friday the school will be selling chick-fil-a biscuits for 3 dollars.
Midway students get out on Thursday, December 20 and they will come back on Thursday , January 4th. Also remember that you should check the lost and found and put your student’s name on your jacket, lunch box, and water bottle.
On December 15, 2017 there is a sing a long for everybody in the school.
The teachers should know that there is an outdoor classroom with a white board.
Also next week there will be winter parties for classes before winter break.
On Monday, December 11th, 3 students got to be principals of the day. The students were Nihal Katta, Alex Kirylo, and Bela Sengupta. Alex’s favorite part was going to observe different classes. Nihal’s favorite part was inspecting the lunch room. Bela’s favorite part was going to the outdoor classroom.
Remember to be safe over the holidays!

Congratulations Mustangs! 1st place at MSCL Olympiad Chess Tournament
Anna Zou, Anthony Zou, and George Wang with Principal Fickling
Our first ever true team tournament, the MSCL Olympiad, was our largest tournament thus far! 69 players from all over the state of South Carolina participated, many braving snow to make the trip. ️
15 teams of 3 players (plus alternates) organized by school participated in the Olympiad section.
Here are our champions:
1st Elementary School Team: Midway~Anna Zou, Anthony Zou, and George Wang.
2nd: Harbison West
3rd: Center for Knowledge, Clemson
1st Middle School Team: RC Edwards
