Biography
Kanye Omari West was born on June 8th, 1977 in Atlanta, Georgia. He was raised with his mother on the South-side of Chicago. He went to college, but later dropped out to pursue his musical career. Once he moved to New York, Jay-Z hired him to help produce, The Blue Print. After that he signed with Jay-Z's label, Roc-A-Fella Records. He released his 1st album in 2004 called, The College Dropout. That sold 2.6 million copies. From there, he released 5 other albums. Two years ago he got married to Kim Kardashian and had a kid named North West.

Kanye attended Polaris High School in Oak Lawn, Illinois. Kanye Omari West dropped out of college to pursue his career. He moved to New York and was mentored by Jay-Z.

Kanye West got involved in the field in 2001 with Jay-Z. He produced an album with him. In 2002, Kanye signed a deal with Roc-A-Fella Records. He later produced his first album in 2004. He continues to look up to Jesus, Jay-Z, and his wife.
