Back 2 Basics - Week 1

Thank you for donating to our special Christmas project to support local families today! We collected 4 boxfuls of peanut butter and baby formula and close to $100 to buy more! We are collecting over the weekend at church too, so we hope to deliver a great big load of supplies to a local service agency for distribution.

We also are having fun with Glad to Wear Plaid Day! Some students wore just a touch of plaid, and others wore it head to toe - it is a very cheerful school today!

Next Friday will be Favorite Sweater and Jeans Day (or your theme shirt) and we will be collecting Diapers and Toilet Paper.
We pray that our Back2Basics collections will really be a blessing to families that need support and that they will be encouraged with God's love and prayers surrounding them.

Sixth grade students collaborated on a grid art portrait for this month's BIG IDEA - COMPASSION. We have learned that compassion is defined as caring about someone in need enough to do something about it! Mother Teresa is a great example. As a family, talk about others you know that show compassion and how your family can show compassion at home and in the community.

Christmas Cards

If you need any additional cards, Mrs. Prince has some sets of mixed student work available for sale. They can be purchased individually or by 10- or 20-pack, $1/card. Check in the office or at the Information Center over the weekend. Thanks for supporting Trinity's art program and students!
