Summer Reading

Well...it's that time of year again...summer break is right around the corner. It is amazing how fast time flies when you are busy and having fun. We have been very busy in the Carlisle Library this year, and, hopefully, the students have learned a lot and have had fun in the process. I always get a second wind around this time of year and wish that school didn't have to end so soon...but then I just think about the beautiful beach that I am going to enjoy this summer and that bit of whimsy flows right out of my head...beach, here I come!

Thinking about the beach brings me to my next topic...what will I read this summer? Reading a good book has always been one of my favorite things to do at the beach. A few good paperbacks and I am ready to go!

What will your child be reading this summer? If you haven't had time to give that much thought, I have a few reading incentive ideas for you. The following information was compiled by a fellow librarian, so we can thank her for all of the hard work.

Have a great summer!
