The Skipper Scoop
Week of November 19th
SKIPPER NATION
It's Thanksgiving week! This short week leads us right into the official start of the holiday season. Between spending time with family, eating great food, and shamelessly napping in the middle of the day- it's no wonder we love Thanksgiving! Every family has their own special traditions, and giving thanks is always my favorite one. This year I will be giving thanks to my family and friends, as well as my school family and the Fairport community. Thank you for the support and kindness you have shown this fall, it means a lot to me and our students and staff. Have a great week and a wonderful Thanksgiving.

Interact Club
Fairport's first Interact Club has begun. The Interact club is a Rotary sponsored club encouraging leadership and service. The club aims to work to serve the Fairport community and work with other Interact clubs in the area. Thank you to Amy Kapostasy for being the advisor. All kids 12-18 are invited.
Finnish Heritage Museum
Mr. Conn took some students over to the Finnish Heritage Museum for a tour and history lesson surrounding their unit on "People of Fairport Harbor." The lesson focused on how the Finnish came to Fairport Harbor.
Family Feud
Academic Booster's did another amazing job at hosting Family Feud. Thanks for a fun night out. Congrats to Team Yaussy for the win!
FHS Volleyball
Coach Mike Fitzgerald took some Skipper volleyball players for a fun afternoon of OSU volleyball on Saturday. Thanks to the ladies and Coach Mike for representing Fairport Harbor in Columbus. You are such wonderful examples on and off the court.
The Odd Couple
Thanks so much to the FHS Drama department for the HILARIOUS show this past weekend. The Odd Couple was a smash and the audience was in full LOL mode. Our kids are so talented. Thank you to our directors Mr. Luster and Dr. Avram, as well as the booster parents who work tirelessly for our kids.
Skipper Sugar Shoppe
FHS is going to be having a delicious bake sale at Harbor Holidays. All proceeds go to Harding. I know there are some amazing bakers in this town. If anyone is interested in donating baked goods to our Shoppe, we would happily accept it. Stay tuned for drop off dates and times.
