A MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL:
'Tis The Season
December is here! As the year 2017 draws to a close, 'tis the Season for me to reflect over what we have done well together. We have been named as a Beating the Odds school by the GA Department of Education because of our commitment to excellence. This comes from a culture of resilience, teamwork, positivity and enthusiasm. In other words, we are in this together! Whatever it takes to help children feel loved, whatever it takes to help them understand and excel, then that's what we do. We continuously look for those best practices which will help our students understand concepts and then apply them. The culture of love and kindness is pervasive at Liberty Point ES and for which we are blessed. In this season of thanksgiving, reflection, and counting our blessings, one of my greatest blessings is knowing that our staff has made a difference in the lives of children and their families. With that said, help us help all. Please make your best attempt to keep your students eating healthy foods, sleeping adequate hours, and coming to school dressed to battle the cold and wet weather. We want to finish the semester on top during these last 9 days of TEACHING and LEARNING!
Finally, on a personal note, I would like to wish our students, our parents, our staff and the community a happy holiday and a celebration filled with joy and family. It is moments like this, when we can pause, catch our breath and look back that we realize how privileged and lucky we are to be part of the Liberty Point ES community!
