CHANGE OF INSTRUCTIONAL METHOD 3rd 9 weeks-SURVEY LINK
As we are wrapping up our 2nd 9 weeks, it is that time again for you to let us know if you will be changing your child's method of instruction for the 3rd 9 weeks (January 6th-March 22nd). Reminder, you can only change from a remote learner to in person learner by completing this survey on or before the cutoff of December 9th at 3:30 pm . After this cutoff, if you do not complete a change request, your child will default to their current arrangement whether in person or remote. If your child(ren) will stay in their current arrangement, in person or remote from the 2nd to the 3rd 9 weeks, there is no need to complete this survey. We are only asking for changes to be made using this survey attached here. https://forms.gle/uTGTcFaNKsjyMt4i7
If you have any questions, you may call the front office daily from 7-3:30 @ 512-594-4800.
Pre-K Small Moves access
In person student reminders
- Doors open at 7:10 am daily
- All students must wear a mask (we can supply if they forget)
- Breakfast is free to all students
- PLEASE provide a reusable water bottle for your child. We have some disposable water bottles but our supply is depleting fast.
- No visitors in the building, including lunch
- All students will have temp taken on campus daily
- If your child forgets their lunch, they will be offered a cafeteria lunch, and their account will be charged
- Dismissal cards must be brought to dismissal daily for all parent walk ups and car riders
- Dismissal cards will be handed out the first week for new to in person learning students the 2nd 9 weeks
- Dismissal 2:50 pm
Remote student reminders
- Please attend all live Zooms you are able
- Intervention and dyslexia classes should be attended daily unless in extreme circumstances. These interventions are required by the State, and we must document absences as a reason for lack of student progress
- Please monitor your child's submissions to Google classroom and Canvas. Several students are turning in blank assignments consistently
- Remote learning cannot be done by a child independently. Students need adult help with the coursework, submitting their assignment, and showing up to their classes daily
- Your child's teacher has "office hours" daily. Please ensure if you or your child needs help, you are reaching out to your child's teacher.
- Please sign up to receive your child's teachers reminders. This may be in the form of Remind 101, class dojo etc. Staying connected will help your child be successful!
- PE, ART and Music are graded course, and your child must also complete and submit the required work to these teachers
