We Believe
Our vision is to prepare students to be self-directed learners who are literate, creative, curious, civic-minded citizens who demonstrate civility, order, respect and excellence in school and in life.
Our mission is to ensure the intellectual and emotional growth of every student while promoting civility, order, respect, and excellence. We recognize that each student can and must succeed in an environment enriched with support, encouragement, and accountability.
Puma Community,
THANK YOU for your continued support and involvement here at Raymond Park Intermediate Academy! You have demonstrated many times this week what research continues to show and that is when parents are actively engaged in their children's lives, they are likely to have better attendance, better academic performance and have fewer behavioral problems. Please continue to discuss the importance of education and academic and future goals with your child as they have an especially strong impact on their futures.
THE HARLEM WIZARDS are coming to Warren Central TONIGHT for a fun-filled evening beginning at 6:30. Tickets at the door are $10 for students and $12 for adults. All tickets are sponsored by the Warren Arts and Education Foundation. For more details click here. You can also check out this video for more information about the team.
CONGRATULATIONS to three of our fifth-grade students who set the standard for eastside schools on Wednesday at the Indianapolis Sertoma Club Luncheon. They did so by expressing their thoughts in powerful essays on the topic: "What Freedom Means to Me." Congrats go out to Sarah Anderson for 1st Place, Parker Butler for 3rd Place and to John Scheck for his Honorable Mention. They represented the Puma Community very well!
COMMUNITY PARTNER Post Road Christian Church plays such an important part in energizing and giving back to the Warren Township Community - its schools and its residents. As a Mother's Day gift to single mothers in our community, PRCC will be offering a free oil change for their vehicle. Registration is required in advance and activities will be provided for children while waiting for their car to be finished. Once registered, a confirmation notice will be sent via email. If interested, please register at prcconline.com.
TEACHER APPRECIATION WEEK is coming up the week of May 7-11. Our teachers here provide so much for your students - inspiration, motivation and, ultimately, guidance on their futures. During the week of May 7, please show your thanks and gratitude by acknowledging them in some special way. Teachers all across this country change millions of lives on a daily basis, and their work and impact extend far beyond the walls of the classroom. #ThankATeacher
Thank you for taking a moment to read about the great things happening in Warren Township and at your school - Raymond Park Intermediate Academy.
