Congratulations to our Falcon Cheer team for competing and taking 2nd place at the JAMZ NorCal Challenge Cup in Stockton! Competition alongside 5 other teams we are honored to place in the top 3 with our favorite local team- the Evergreen Valley HS cougars!!!!
Football:

Fantastics:
FANTASTICS (Fun At Night Through Activities and Skits To Increase Class Spirit):
ASB would like to invite you to this week's FANTASTICS! This year's theme is Cartoon Network with the following sub-themes.
- Freshmen: Pokemon
- Sophomores: Powerpuff Girls
- Juniors: The Amazing World of Gumball
- Seniors: Adventure Time
Come participate with your classmates and bring our community together by dressing up every day:
- Monday: Black Out/White Out
- Tuesday: Partner in Crime (PJ + Stuffed Animal)
- Wednesday: Dynamic Trio
- Thursday: Adventure Day
- Friday: Cartoon Day (Class Color/Shirt) - Each class has designed a shirt for their specific sub-theme. Classes will also receive points for the number of shirts sold.
We will have a spirit count in the main quad where students will receive class points for each spirit day! So please come out and join the class line you would like to support.
On Friday, April 7th, we will have our night rally. The event will begin at 6:00 PM. There will be a show with dances, skits, and games from each class! When you enter, you will have the option of showing your support by choosing a specific class for entry count!
Tickets and shirts are now being sold at the school bank or online at our student store!

Prom: Masquerade
Seniors! Prom is 1 month away. Celebrate your last year in High School with your friends at Hotel Valencia on April 29, 2023. Doors will open at 6:00 PM. This year’s theme is Masquerade. Tickets are now available at the School Bank starting at $135. Admission and Food are included. Get your tickets early before prices go up!
Teen Center at Seven Trees Community Center:
Teen Center is participating in a Princess Project event on Saturday, April 8th. The Princess Project, it is an organization that takes new/gently used prom dresses and other dresses, and gives them for free to youth who need dresses for prom. Transportation and lunch will be provided, as well as shopping in their stock of over 5,000 size inclusive dresses!
Permission slips are located in room 407. All you need to do is simply get it signed by a parent/guardian and return it to Kim Ross at Kim.Ross@sanjoseca.gov or drop it off at Seven Trees Community Center ASAP, to reserve your space.

Multicultural Week:
Multicultural Week is a time to celebrate and educate diversity through tradition, heritage, and food. We want to celebrate you and your culture. On April 17 - 21, 2023 we will be celebrating the cultures of our Falcon families through Lunch Time Activities, Spirit Days, and a Rally with performances. If you would like to participate in our Cultural Fashion Show, please fill out this form. General Announcements
ESUHSD Cesar Chavez Contest:
Congratulations Vinh Nguyen and Abel Gonzalez! They were honored last Tuesday at a ceremony at the District Office for their winning writing entries in the Cesar Chavez Contest. Vinh won first place for Andrew Hill and Abel won second. We are all so proud of them!
Los Altos Hacks:
We are happy to announce that Los Altos Hacks will host their seventh high school hackathon this April! It is a 100% free beginner-friendly hackathon with tons of free food, swag, and prizes! All meals and snacks will be provided and entrance is free! Los Altos Hacks VII will take place at the Juniper Aspiration Dome in Sunnyvale, CA on April 8-9.
Second Harvest of Silicon Valley Volunteer Opportunity:
Second Harvest is currently serving over 460,000 neighbors in need per month in Silicon Valley, and they cannot do this without volunteer assistance. There are two nearby opportunities that are in high need for volunteers at St. Maria Goretti Church, and Seven Trees Community Center.
Student Equity Council:
Actions Matter! Student Equity Club spent several weekends and many after school hours to make the C-Boys and Girls Bathrooms nice and welcoming! We designed and painted the stalls. Our actions matter and affect other people! Let's keep the restrooms clean and nice for everyone to use!
Senior Stoles:
Senior Stoles are being sold at the School Bank until the end of April! Complete the order form, get it signed by the Program Advisor and submit the form along with the payment to the School Bank.
Tutoring/Cyber High:
Attention! Before and after-school tutoring and Cyber High is in room 407! Need help in your classes? We’re here to help! Open every day! Can’t make it in person? Check out Paper.co on our school website for online tutoring for all subjects, 24 hrs a day, every day!
