MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL
GLOW Students & Families,
As we approach Valentine's Day this week, we send love to our students, families, and staff at GLOW! We are, in turn, so grateful for the ways you each show your love for our school! It is an honor to get to serve all who are members of our GLOW community.
There are several events and opportunities on the horizon. Be sure to check them out in the newsletter below!
Wishing you all a great week ahead!

Seahawks, Cougars, and Wildcats Bus Routes
GLOW will operate using combined routes for the Seahawks, Cougars, and Wildcats in both the mornings and afternoons beginning on Monday, February 12, 2024 and running through Thursday, March 28 (Spring Break). We currently have one of our full-time bus drivers out on medical leave until Spring Break, and we are finding it difficult to hire another substitute bus driver.
You can find the updated Bus Stop times for AM and PM in THIS FOLDER.
If you have transportation questions or concerns, please contact Kevin Whaley, Transportation Coordinator, at transportation@glowacademy.net.
Thank you for your patience and flexibility as we problem solve our current staffing issue. Our driver on medical leave is recovering well, and we look forward to welcoming her back after Spring Break.
What Makes GLOW Shine?
We want to hear from you - we've launched a campaign to help share the stories and experiences of GLOW Academy from those who know GLOW best - students, teachers, and of course our parents & guardians. We know our students would not be as successful without your partnership.
Please take a minute to complete the FORM FOUND HERE and tell us what makes us Shine!

Class of 2024 - Scholarship Opportunity
Beacon Education is driven by the belief that a child’s zip code should not determine their destiny. By ensuring equitable access to high quality education, we empower children and their families to close and even reverse the achievement and opportunity gaps.
Beacon Education has established a fund to provide scholarship money to assist our graduating seniors with the transition from high school to college. This gap funding is intended to provide financial resources for students with demonstrated financial need until their institutional financial aid becomes available at their enrolling institution.
Seniors, please check Canvas for additional information. All Beacon Education Scholarship Applications are due to Alexia Shank by 3:15 p.m. on Friday, March 1, 2024.
24-25 GLOW Calendar is NOW Available!
