OUR SUNDAY SCHOOL FOR BOTH KIDS AND ADULTS WILL

BEGIN THIS SUNDAY . THE ADULTS CLASS WILL BE IN THE

GREEN ROOM BEGIN AT 9;00 AND THE KIDS WILL MEET AT 10;00 AND THEN JOIN US ALL FOR COMMUNION. THE TOPIC FOR THE ADULT CLASS WILL BE THE READINGS FOR THE NEXT SUNDAY AND IT WILL HELP STEVE AND I TO GET SOME GOOD IDEAS FOR THE SERMONS


THE ROTARY CLUB IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE CITY OF ENNIS

IS PLANNING TO BUILD A SPLASH OPERATION ON THE LAKE

ACROSS THE STREET. THAT WILL MEAN A LOT OF ACTION IN OUR NEIGHBORHOOD AND SOME GOOD ADVERTISING FOR ST.

YOU WILL REMEMBER THE GREAT PRESENTATION THAT SANDRA WAKEFIELD DID FOR US A WHILE BACK. SHE ACTED OUT THE LIFE OF MARY THE MOTHER OF JESUS. SHE IS PERFORMING “ THE

WOMAN AT THE WELL” SATURDAY EVENING, SEPT. 21 BEGINNING AT 7;00 PM. ADMISSION IS FREE. SANDRA IS A GREAT

FRIEND OF ST. THOMAS.


WE HAVE IN OUR THURSDAY NIGHT BIBLE STUDY THE TWO DIRECTORS OF THE FIRST LOOK THRIFT STORE IN WAXAHACHIE

AND TWO OF OUR MEMBERS ARE WORKING AS VOLUNTEERS IN

THE WAXAHACHIE STORE AND ONE VOLUNTEER HERE IN THE ENNIS STORE. THEY COLLECT ALL SORTS OF THINGS NEW AND GENTLY USED THINGS ==CLOTHES, CHINA, JEWELRY, PICTURES

SHOES, DVD, CDS , AND VARIOUS OTHER ARTICLES. THE TUBS THAT HAVE BEEN USED FOR THE HOMELESS IN DALLAS ARE NOW READY FOR OUR DONATIONS TO THAT CHARITY. THEY MONEY GOES TO FUND THE CRISIS PREGNANCY CENTER IN WAXAHACHIE

THIS SEEMS LIKE A GENTLY WAY TO DO OUTREACH AND THE BENEFITS SAVE THE LIVES OF CHILDREN


THE LAST EVENT FOR THE MONTH OF SEPTEMBER IS THE BLESSING OF THE ANIMALS WHICH WILL TAKE PLACE AT THE CHURCH AT 10;00 AM ON SAT. SEPT. 28. WE KNOW THAT SOME OF Y9U WHO READ THIS HAVE PETS AND WHY DON’T YOU JOIN US FOR THIS COMMUNITY EVENT.
